I wanted a basic watch that would be for everyday use and liked this Timex design. I was very pleased that it looked even nicer in person…clear face, leather band with slightly heavier stitching than some, good weight (not too heavy). I have received a few compliments at work/co-workers were surprised at the value for the cost. Overall, a solid Timex offering that you will enjoy if you’re drawn to the style/image that appears here in the product details.

Classy look and very durable. Very nice watch for the price. I bought mine at a discount store and paid about $6 more for it. I like it, despite its 10mm thickness. Not that heavy if you’re like me, 6′2″ and 250lbs. It’s a man’s watch, practical yet with some style while not being trendy. I haven’t had any problems with it so far, despite having dropped it twice and worn it outside while working and getting it soaked with sweat multiple times. I don’t find it uncomfortable at all and I forget I am wearing it. (I suggest taking it off, the leather band doesn’t clean easily like a metal band.) I’m considering buying a second one and keeping it cleaner this time. (Lesson learned.)

Love the Roman numerals, the round face, and fluorescent hands. Indiglo light is great at night. Main flaw with watch is that day and date windows merge into the “III” on the face so it always looks like 15 minutes after… if you just glance at the time. Consequently, it takes a “double take” to confirm the time - not good if you’re driving. Also, the leather band is extremely stiff and apparently will take months to break in - takes a minute or two to get the watch on your wrist.

The design of this watch is the main reason I purchased this watch. Roman numerals and simple white face is just a classic. Unfortunately the mechanism that control the date change doesnt work. It change date not at 12 midnight, but at 8pm. I have to spend more money to get it fixed.

I love this watch. The face is a little bigger than I like, Love the leather strap, and the indiglo feature. This is a great watch for the money.
