This watch does it all, GPS, power, cadence, distance, speed, integration with Training Peaks software and you can program it via your PC or Mac! Global Trainer was unveiled at the 2010 Winter Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City, UT but won’t be available until May. Look for this watch at your local REI store. When I saw Timex-Jason’s hand next to it at 0:39 I was wondering if this thing really was huge, and it seems that it is, indeed. The negative reviews are starting to come in and size is at the top of the list. It’s almost 2 1/4 inches across, so it’s not going to be for everyone. I’d have ordered it outright, but hoping instead that a local REI has one to try on.
Bought mine at REI two weeks ago and absolutely love it.
Please, PLEASE be a good piece of gear. I’m sick of my Garmins dying two months after warranty.
