Customer Review: Seconds Didn’t Line Up
One of my pet peeves with a quartz watch is when the seconds hand does not align with the second marks on the dial. On the watch I received this was the case, so I had to return the watch. The return process was easy and painless, however.
Customer Review: Too BIG even for a guy that likes BIG watches
Well, some perspective: I take my sense of style pretty seriously and I do consider myself a bit of a watch hound. With that, I have always gravitated towards oversized, eye-catching, masculine watches. And while this was my first foray into the world of Citizen’s watches, and I was most anxious to get this bad boy on my wrist given the dimensions, there was just no way around the fact that this timepiece is just too bulky. I was most impressed with the impeccable craftsmenship of this watch, and the design is very bold and deserving of attention. The width of the watch was good too, even at 51mm. But the depth at 19mm was way too chunky. I’ve had watches the same width and close to the same depth, but this just stuck too far off my wrist. I did exchange for a Citizen Eco-Drive Men’s Perpetual Calendar Watch #BL5334-04E and I couldn’t be happier. About the same width but much slimmer, AND with a perpetual calendar (bonus!). It seems I am now a loyal Citizen customer.
